| I guess when I think "turbocharged" I think of some snarling, turbo-lagging, turbo whining monster of a sports car. Having owned several of the aforementioned, my wife and I were looking for a D.D. that could haul us + kiddos around (no kids yet!) and we ended up getting a GMC Denali. We looked at the CX-7 Turbo and the engine just seemed downright underpowered and asthmatic. (Reminded me of an old Chevy cavalier). The Juke, while it is more refined-feeling than the CX-7 was, it just still doesn't quite have that "punch" you're expecting (there is almost ZERO turbo lag also). I guess because the boost pressure is so low to preserve the reliability/longevity, this is why it just seems so unimpressive. We also looked at the Subaru Tribeca, but were unimpressed with the build quality (yet we buy a Denali...right?) and it just seemed overpriced for what you get. Anyway, hope that helps alittle (I have a feeling it doesn't), but the best way is just to go drive it.
